Electronic Capabilities Survey 1994

The Electronic Capabilities Survey conducted by the Library Programs Service, was compiled into a dBASE type data file.  The structure of that file is given in the File Structure sheet.

Each survey question offered a number of possible answers.  These answers are indicated below along with the corresponding entry which would have been made into the database field in response to each survey received.  For example: if "5" was the content of field "PCXT", then the answer for that particular survey question was "11-20".  Some questions accept multiple answers and in these cases, all the responses are contained in the field, separated by a space.
